Crowd safety, management & preparedness
Specialist crowd management consultancy for major events, venues and complex public environments.
InCrowd Safety provides evidence-led crowd management planning, analysis and operational support, combining crowd science with extensive experience of managing people in real event environments.
Led by Adam Robson MSc, InCrowd Safety supports event organisers, venues and delivery partners in understanding how crowds are likely to arrive, move, gather and leave — and in turning that understanding into practical, usable plans.
InCrowd Safety is the independent consultancy of Adam Robson, a Crowd Management Specialist with more than twelve years’ experience across hundreds of events in the UK and internationally.
Adam holds an MSc with Distinction in Crowd Science and Risk Management and combines academic understanding with extensive practical experience across motorsport, festivals, football, major public events, transport environments and high-capacity venues.
His work encompasses strategic planning, Crowd Management Plan development, crowd flow and density analysis, control room operations and live operational crowd management.
A former Dedicated Football Police Officer, Adam also brings significant experience of public order environments, stakeholder liaison and the practical realities of managing crowded spaces.

Testimonials
“It has been fantastic working with the InCrowd Safety team to provide crowd safety training for a range of learners across the match day team here at Southampton. The three-day training that we booked was excellent with the practical expertise of Jason, Adam and Peter really shining through. This brought what could have been quite a dry, technical topic to life for the group.. The mixture of practical examples, ongoing assessment and discussion among the group meant that all sessions were lively and applied to the work a diverse group actually do here. I would strongly recommend the Level 3, 4 and 5 training to any organisation wanting to improve their crowd safety teams.”
“I had the pleasure of working closely with Adam Robson during the 2024 Qatar Formula 1 event at Lusail International Circuit. Adam joined us as Crowd Management Lead and quickly proved invaluable. His deep understanding of crowd behaviour and industry expertise ensured the event’s safety and success. Adam developed comprehensive safety plans, managed a large security team, and led international crowd managers with exemplary leadership. His clear communication and strategic foresight were crucial in ensuring seamless coordination and incident-free proceedings. Adam’s dedication and professionalism were evident in the exceptional service delivered by his teams. He is an outstanding crowd management professional, and I highly recommend him for future projects”
“It has been beneficial to work with the InCrowd Safety team to provide crowd safety training for a range of staff from Management at the Football Club to new joiners into the Fulham Pier here at Fulham FC. The training was excellent with the practical expertise provided by the team on show. The team were extremely professional and both training methods and materials were very effective in providing us the opportunity to work through having non footballing events at Craven Cottage. I would strongly recommend the Level 3, 4 and 5 training to any organisation wanting to improve not only their crowd safety teams but also others to give them an understanding of the many components to crowd safety.”

“Participating in the InCrowd Safety Partnership tabletop exercise was an invaluable experience. The session was well-structured, interactive, and provided a realistic simulation of potential emergencies. It allowed us to identify areas of improvement in our response plan while highlighting our team’s strengths in a controlled, supportive environment. The facilitator did an excellent job guiding the exercise, encouraging collaboration, and ensuring that everyone had a voice. I highly recommend this exercise for any organisation seeking to strengthen their safety protocols and ensure readiness.”
“I had the pleasure of working with Adam during the Qatar F1 Grand Prix, and I was truly impressed by his depth of knowledge and expertise. He’s not only highly professional and adaptable in his approach, but also a real people-person who is always willing to assist and share his valuable insights. Adam’s flexibility and willingness to support the team made a significant impact on our operations. I would highly recommend him for any major projects, and I look forward to the opportunity to work with him again in the future”
